Technology
St. Aloysius School strives to provide up to date technology for students and staff. Our program allows for at least 5 computers in every classroom in addition to a teacher workstation, a mini-lab consisting of 17 computers in the junior high science lab, and a computer lab equipped with 30 student workstations. Teachers have access to additional technology consisting of Macbook laptops, digital video cameras, SMARTBoard interactive whiteboards, and several network printers throughout the building. Students in grades K-6 come to the computer lab regularly while students in grades 7-8 have numerous opportunities for the integration of technology throughout their curriculum. Students frequently have opportunities for additional technology through their elective program for grades 6-8. Students create movies, podcasts, and work with stop-gap animation.
St. Aloysius School will gladly recycle your used laser and ink jet cartridges as well as old cell phones. Just drop the items off in the school office. They are redeemed for technology-related equipment.
