Tuition Assistance

It is our intention to ensure that each child, who is a member of St. Aloysius Parish, will not be denied an education at St. Aloysius Catholic School as a
result of the inability to pay tuition costs.

If your family is in need of financial assistance, St.  Aloysius Catholic School offers three ways to provide help:

#1: The Northwest Ohio Scholarship Program offers funding for tuition
assistance for families who enroll in local private schools and who meet specific qualifications. Eligibility is based on your family’s annual household income. See the website for more information. http://www.nosf.org/

#2: Toledo Diocese Tuition Assistance Endowment “One Faith… Many Blessings” offers funding to students with needs-based financial aid. These applications will be available beginning in March on the CYSS website: http://www.cyss.org/Schools/Schoolpage.html

The application sheet is to be filled out by the parents/guardians and turned in to the St. Aloysius Catholic School office. Each grant will be credited to the following year’s tuition. Application must be made each year. This is not automatically renewed.

#3: St. Aloysius School/Parish Tuition Assistance ensures that each child, who is a member of St. Aloysius Parish, will not be denied an education at St. Aloysius Catholic School as a result of the inability to pay tuition costs. The application is included in the registration packet. Final determination of
assistance will be made by May by the Pastor and the principal.

It is our school’s policy that only one scholarship from #1, #2, and #3 above will be available for each family. It is necessary that you apply to all sources. Those who receive tuition assistance will be notified in regard to the specific amount and from which source it is received.
