Market Day

Market Day is a fund raiser available to all schools. Order sheets are sent home monthly in the yellow envelope. All families are welcome to order. Market Day offers a wide variety of delicious frozen foods and snacks. Everything from breakfast to dessert is available. Ordering is easy. You can fill out the order form and return it to the school office or order online at www.marketday.com.

There is a special incentive offered to families with children in the 5^th through 8^th grades. Every time you order, 10% of your total is deposited into an account to save for the 6^th grade Camp Storer/8^th grade Class Trip. When your child goes to Camp Storer in the 6^th grade, whatever amount of money you have earned is disbursed towards the cost of camp. If there is any money left over, it is saved for the 8^th grade Class Trip. Some families have been able to pay for one or both trips solely by ordering from Market Day. The more you order, the more you save! If you have friends or family who will order from Market Day, there are order sheets available in the school office for anyone to take.

For families who order that do not have a 5^th -8^th grader, the 10% is put into a “Kitty.” This “Kitty” is then divided amongst the 5^th-6^th grade families. To qualify to receive the “Kitty” monies, 5^th-6^th grade families must order at least 5 times within the school year. The 7^th-8^th grade families do not receive the “Kitty” monies. There are spaghetti dinner fundraisers to help 7^th-8^th graders earn money for the Class Trip. In the early spring, all 5^th-8^th grade families will receive a statement displaying their earnings which is provided by the parish business office.
